I've made another journal page for the new Craft Barn Challenge.
The Challenge is to use the words UNIQUE and/or FAME in a quote or lyric.
First I searched for "Fame" but wasn't happy with what I found. When I searched for "Unique and lyric" I found this really beautiful Reggae-style song called "Unique is my dove" by Matisyahu. If you like, you can check it out here.
The background is a mix of Distress Stains and I used a olive branch stamp across the page. I covered the dove image with VersaMark and heat embossed the whole image with clear embossing powder and added a crown. The text at the bottom is the chorus of the song.

ReplyDeleteI feel so ashamed. You always leave me a nice comment and you are always quick to do so, too. Even before your art is ready, you visit to leave praise for what I make. And it's been so busy at my place, I haven't had time to visit, although it has weighed heavy on my mind. So, I hope you will forgive the late visit, but unfortunately, life got in the way.
ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful dove stamp. I'm simply no good with heat embossing, but you did a fantastic job (stamping, too). I've never heard the song before, but it certainly fits the challenge.
