Craft Barn "Alpha/Dictionary" Challenge

The next letter for the Craft Barn challenge is "G".
I decided to go for Gargoyles, because I always liked them. I found one from Notre Dame and printed it along with an image of the Eiffel Tower.
For the background I used three different Distress Inks to give the impression of a sky. I glued the Gargoyle and the Eiffel Tower on the background. Then I tore strips from an old book, coloured it with Distress Ink and added the stripes as a border. For the corners I used brads which looks like screws and finally added the word definition.

Thanks for looking :)

  1. I love this! I was going to do this word, but had no images so did something else. Amazing that these are really just water spouts!

  2. Fabulous word, and fab images too!

  3. Gargoyles are so amazing and fascinating. Great word choice! I really like how you put your page together. Great sky!

  4. The gargoyle looks suitably spooky... A great choice of word and very well illustrated!

  5. Love your choice of word and project! Thank you for entering The Craft Barn Challenge.

  6. Good choice of word and great images, a little menacing!

  7. Wouldn't want to meet your gargoyle on a dark night! A great choice of word and images.
