Less Is More: One Layer

This card is for the new Less is More Challenge - Week 171.
The Challenge this week is a One Layer "Thank You" card.

I've used Memento inks (Rose Bud and Black) for this card.

The sentiment is from Creative Expressions. I don't know where the flower stamp is from. It came in a grab bag, that I bought years ago.

This is how the card looked first, however it just didn't feel right.

So I decided to add a border with the same ink (Rose Bud) as the flowers.
For me this was the finishing touch that the card needed.
Thanks for looking :)

  9. You have a good eye. That was the perfect addition that tied the entire card together.

Thanks for visiting me today. You flatter me. But let me warn you. You must belong to Facebook or Flickr, neither of which I do, if you want your entries posted so the "world" can see them. However, if you are like me, and don't belong to these two social groups, you can follow along each week and post to your blog only. Regardless, I'll stop by when I can to see your progress.
